Research the cultural/historical context information. research about the artist his musical training, background, musical cultural influences. You need to cite 2 - 3 scholarly sources/ articles that discuss the artist, genre, historical period, or roots of music.
2. musical review
Carefully listen to the album legend several times through, taking notes on what you hear. Using music vocabulary discuss individual tracks in detail and evaluate how the album flows as a whole. Also discuss what makes the artist composition style unique? What instruments do you hear? What lyrical themes are heard in each song. What statement is the artist trying to make? What are the favorite least aspects of the album?
You will list these sources in a " work cited" at the end of the paper.
