- 3-4 pages long.
- Primary source = chosen film (Frankenstein).
- Content: Shows deep thinking and analysis of the film through movie lingo.
- For example, you could analyze the symbolism of the colors, the sound, the camera angles, etc.
- Must incorporate at least 2-3 movie terms.
- Must utilize normal paper formatting (intro with thesis, body, conclusion).
- Must use MLA standards for citations and provide a works cited page.
- Limit the amount of summary.
Introduction: Use plan of development (let reader know 2-3 movie terms paper will utilize)
Body: Use emphatic order, beginning with smallest concept and going to largest Paragraphs must provide specific scenes as examples. Some summary is fine here, but do not go crazy with it. Paragraphs should use hamburger order when summarizing, you must use citations
Conclusion: Standard conclusion Recommendation – discuss importance.
Writing Directions: In a minimum of 2 paragraphs, explain what the film’s argument is. What is the film’s position in that argument? What clues from the film – colors, camera angles, etc. – tell you this.
